On-Site Fire Pump Testing & Maintenance

Your One-Stop-Shop for Annual Testing

Annual testing is integral for your fire apparatus. An annual service pump test is a documented procedure to prove your apparatus can perform at its rated capacity from draft. The pump, pump transmission, chassis drivetrain, and plumbing are run through a series of tests designed to inspect the system.

Your One-Stop-Shop for Annual Testing

We test on-site to ensure we meet the recommendation of ten gallons of usable water in the pump test pit for each GPM of pump capacity. Our pump test pit contains two tanks totaling 26,000 gallons. This ensures that we are able to provide a reliable test environment to reduce the number of unnecessary repairs due to poor pump performance. We pump at 100, 70, and 50 percent of the pump rating and in accordance with the overload test. If the apparatus is equipped with a water tank, the tank-to-pump flow rate is checked.
