The NXT pumper offers fire departments a powerful pumper in a more compact design, making it one of the most versatile pumpers in the industry. Its tight turn radius, high horsepower, and maximum water flows make it the perfect solution for urban, suburban, or rural operational challenges.

Designed with a low-profile pump located behind the cab under the seating extension, the NXT pumper offers added room and storage options in an already spacious cab. Its non-proprietary market-proven pump is available with PTO or Split-Shaft pump in single or 2-stage operation with parts readily available minimizing cost and maximizing options.

Spartan Advanced Protection System

Outboard Sensors

Protects all occupants from side impact collisions, rollovers and occupant ejection. The only company in the industry whose airbags protect cab occupants from side impacts.

Side impact protection

Detects multi-angle impacts allowing faster deployment of airbags with sensors mounted on the outer perimeter of the cab.

Driver knee airbags

Protects against injuries resulting from hitting the instrument panel or other interior points of contact. Locks the lower body in place so the upper body can be slowed and protected by the steering wheel airbag.

Full side curtain airbags

Protects from a side impact or a rollover with airbags up to three times larger than other manufacturers. Each rear side airbag is custom-sized for the crew area of every cab built, with the largest rear side airbag covering seven times the area of any other manufacturer.

Advanced Seatbelts

Pulls the occupant into the seat in the event of an impact, or rollover using pyrotechnic pretensioners that provide more force during the initial lock. After the occupant is pulled into the seat, load limiters release some of the webbing to control the occupant’s deceleration into the airbag system, helping to mitigate the strain on each occupant, further reducing seatbelt-related injuries.

Eight airbag positions, the most offered by any manufacturer, including knee and side curtain airbags. These give your apparatus the highest available impact and anti-ejection protection on the market.

State-of-the-art outboard sensors protect occupants from multi-angle impacts in the cab. These sensors are mounted at the outer perimeter of the cab providing a “zone of safety” inside the cab. Each sensor communicates back to the restraint control module that monitors which airbag should deploy and under what conditions.

Industry-First Outboard Sensors

As well as multiple seating configurations to provide your crew with extended legroom, improved visibility, additional storage and provides extra safety from triple-reinforced box front bulkhead, engine compartment, front and rear step assemblies.

Spartan One-Touch CAFS

Allows for easy control and operation without manual processes or calculations. Once the pump is engaged and water is flowing, state-of-the-art electronics monitor components in a ready state. The system injects foam into the water and air into the appropriate discharge, sensing foam/water flow and eliminating slug flow.

Custom Built-in Floor Dry

Keeps your interior compartments free from spilled material and torn bags; can be configured in a number of different areas.

NXT Pump Design

The pump is positioned at the rear of the cab under the seat extension, creating a safe and more ergonomic work environment with maximum performance capabilities.

Maximum Pump Capacities

Pump ratings from 750 to 2250 (single and 2-stage pumps) including ratings to 1500 GPM over 9,000 ft. elevation and 1250 GPM over 11,000 ft. elevation.

Vertical Swing Handles

Vertically-oriented swing handles located in the L1 compartment position the operator away from hose inlets and discharges and make opening and adjusting valves easier.

Smart View Panels

Smart view panels provide optimum viewing angles in all light conditions for the operator.

Simplified Pump Access

Tilt the cab to easily perform service and maintenance through the front of the body.

Maximized Space Usage

The IPS-NXT maximizes available space inside the cab and body compartments.

Independent Front Suspension

Spartan’s 20k and 24k independent front suspensions provide superior cramp angles with full air suspension available with a range of tire sizes designed for easy service and maintenance.

Enhanced Maneuverability

The tightest turn radius and the most maneuverable chassis on the market. The turning radius cramp angles range up to 53° and offer up to a 19-degree approach angle, exceeding NPFA 1901 standards.

Maximum Power & Space

Configurations available with a powerful 500 HP engine in a 94″ wide cab or up to 600 HP in a 99″ wide cab.
