Custom-fabricated storage boxes made from aluminum treadplate are located on each side of the bed. The compartments feature gas struts to hold the doors open and LED rope lighting to evenly illuminate the compartments at night. Custom storage provisions were made for gas cans, a chain saw and long handled tools. There are also two (2) removable trays for 3" and 1-3/4" hose. At the front of the compartments on each side is a Fire Research Focus 150-watt, 12-volt HID quartz lights mounted on telescoping poles. The cab interior features a center console that was custom-fabricated and sprayed with black LINE-X. It holds (2) cup holders and also has a rear storage area for map books and binders. The extended cab area was overlaid with aluminum treadplate for gear and equipment storage. Two (2) Streamlight Vulcan handlights w/chargers are mounted on the rear wall. In addition, a Firecom vehicle intercom system was installed with a headset for each seating position.
