It’s all about reach with our 125′ Heavy Duty Aerial. This robust ladder has the longest horizontal reach available — 121′ at 0 degrees to make short work of large setbacks. Combine that with a tip load rating of 750 lbs. while flowing 1,500 gpm and no performance restrictions on a downhill slope due to the exclusive FP-4 stabilizer design. The standard operating range of -12 to 72 degrees ensures you can handle below-grade rescues as well as high-rise firefighting and rescues.

Spartan Advanced Protection System

Outboard Sensors

Protects all occupants from side impact collisions, rollovers and occupant ejection. The only company in the industry whose airbags protect cab occupants from side impacts.

Side impact protection

Detects multi-angle impacts allowing faster deployment of airbags with sensors mounted on the outer perimeter of the cab.

Driver knee airbags

Protects against injuries resulting from hitting the instrument panel or other interior points of contact. Locks the lower body in place so the upper body can be slowed and protected by the steering wheel airbag.

Full side curtain airbags

Protects from a side impact or a rollover with airbags up to three times larger than other manufacturers. Each rear side airbag is custom-sized for the crew area of every cab built, with the largest rear side airbag covering seven times the area of any other manufacturer.

Advanced Seatbelts

Pulls the occupant into the seat in the event of an impact, or rollover using pyrotechnic pretensioners that provide more force during the initial lock. After the occupant is pulled into the seat, load limiters release some of the webbing to control the occupant’s deceleration into the airbag system, helping to mitigate the strain on each occupant, further reducing seatbelt-related injuries.

State-of-the-art outboard sensors protect occupants from multi-angle impacts in the cab. These sensors are mounted at the outer perimeter of the cab providing a “zone of safety” inside the cab. Each sensor communicates back to the restraint control module that monitors which airbag should deploy and under what conditions.

Spartan offers flat, 5″, 10″, 20″, and 24″ raised roof options that are reinforced with C-channel supports. As well as multiple seating configurations to provide your crew with extended legroom, improved visibility, additional storage and provides extra safety from triple-reinforced box front bulkhead, engine compartment, front and rear step assemblies.

Electronic Positional Waterway

Never climb another ladder just to re-position the master stream. Our patented electric positional waterway lets the operator position the waterway to either Rescue or Water Tower mode with a simple one-step procedure from the turntable.

CP-84 Chrome Plated Waterway

The strongest, most durable waterway in the industry featuring a galvanized inner coating prevents corrosion of the 84,000 psi pipe. The exterior waterway is chrome plated to provide a smooth telescopic movement throughout the entire extension and retraction of the aerial ladder.

QL-12 Electrical System

Our reliable plug-and play system reduces the amount of non-plug connectors and makes it easy to add components and make repairs to the electrical system.

FP-4 Stabilizing System

Our unique stabilizing system places the front stabilizers just behind the cab of the apparatus. This forward placement provides superior fore/aft leveling capability on steep terrain, plus easy access to the pump panel, while reducing stress on the chassis.

Removable Egress

Bolt-on removable egress for easy replacement. Available in two lengths.

AL-11 Aerial Logic

A totally integrated system that provides instant feedback on a ladder’s extension, location, retraction, angle, load and breathing air system status, as well as J1939 engine information.

SGO9 Auxiliary Power Unit – EMISSION-Reduction Technology

Our exclusive SG-09 Green Auxiliary Power Unit (APU) is designed to handle the rigors of the fire service and reduces the operation of the chassis engine while providing all electrical and HVAC capabilities.

Aerial Smart Storage

Optional storage around the wheel wells increases the amount of usable compartment space. Smart Storage compartments were designed to free up body compartment space and bring equipment to a more usable height.
